House Cleaner Jobs | Victoria BC

At Whiskey Jack Cleaning, we provide high-quality house cleaning services to our clients. As a house cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s homes are clean, organized, and tidy.

As a house cleaner, you will be working in a team environment and will be expected to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while working in our clients’ homes. You will be responsible for following cleaning checklists and procedures to ensure that our clients are satisfied with our services. You may also be required to communicate with clients to address their specific cleaning needs and preferences.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and may be assigned to different cleaning jobs throughout the week. You will be provided with all the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to perform your job duties safely and effectively.

House cleaners wage starts at $25 per hour.

You can choose the days that you are available and we will schedule accordingly. Our cleaners who work Monday – Friday typically get between 20-35 hours a week. 

  1. Cleaning bathrooms: This includes scrubbing the toilets, sinks, and showers or bathtubs, wiping down mirrors and counters, and sweeping or mopping the floors.

  2. Cleaning kitchens: This includes wiping down countertops, cleaning appliances (such as the stove, oven, and refrigerator), washing dishes, and sweeping or mopping the floors.

  3. Dusting: You will be responsible for dusting all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and window sills.

  4. Vacuuming and sweeping: You will be responsible for vacuuming carpets and rugs and sweeping hard floors to ensure that they are free from debris and dust.

  5. Changing bed linens: You may be responsible for changing bed linens and making beds, as well as tidying up bedrooms and common living spaces.

As an Airbnb cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s properties are clean, organized, and ready for their next guests. In this role, you will be working independently and will be responsible for managing your cleaning schedule to ensure that properties are ready for guests on time. You will be provided with all the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to perform your job duties safely and effectively.

As an Airbnb cleaner, you will be required to communicate with your direct supervisor to address any special requests or cleaning needs the clients may have. You may also be required to provide feedback on the condition of the property to our team so that they can make any necessary adjustments to our cleaning procedures. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Airbnb cleaners wage starts at $23 per hour during training and probation. Once probation is over, the wage starts $25 per hour.

You may choose the days that you are available. Typically a shift starts around 10 am and ends around 4 pm as these are the typical check-in and check-out times.

It all depends on how many hours you want, the job you are in, and your availability. 

Someone with more availability will likely get more work as we have to schedule based on the clients needs and schedule which may not always align with our staff.

You will need reliable transportation to get to the jobs, whatever form that may be. 

We provide and pay for all supplies and equipment.

Yes, we reimburse kilometers during a scheduled shift based on the current CRA mileage rate.
